Our Services

Here to help you with...

EYE CARE

Our fully qualified optometrist will conduct a thorough eye examination to establish the standard of your sight and the overall health of your eyes. We will look for early signs of cataracts, glaucoma and other sight-threatening conditions.

General health issues such as diabetes, high blood pressure, raised cholesterol and vascular disease may also be detected via a routine eye exam.

If you have never had your eyes tested before then don’t worry! The process is very simple and will last about 30 minutes; if you have any questions about the process feel free to ask any of our friendly staff who will be happy to explain the whole process and ensure you are relaxed throughout your visit.

The findings of your eye examination will be explained by the optometrist and again feel free to ask any questions you may have.

If you require any visual correction then our knowledgeable staff are always on hand to advise you on the various ways in which our products can meet your optical needs. This includes a vast range of spectacles, contact lenses, sunglasses and advice on nutritional supplements for eye health.

CONTACT LENSES

Contact lenses are a great alternative to wearing glasses. Whether you have a vision problem or just want to make a fashion statement, contact lenses can dramatically alter your look.

Here at Hill Top Opticians, we can cater for your eyewear requirements and you can purchase contact lenses from our store.

SPECTACLES / DESIGNER EYEWEAR

Why not pop in to check out our range or enquire about a frame you may be sourcing.

CHILDREN’S EYECARE

Being able to see clearly is incredibly important to your child’s overall development. So it’s not surprising that we take your child’s eyesight seriously.

Here at Hill Top Opticians, we will examine your child at least once a year routinely from the age of 3 so that any problems may be identified and resolved quickly and efficiently.

Conditions such as squints and amblyopia (lazy eye) can be treated more effectively if they are picked up earlier, which could make a huge difference to your child.

If it is determined that your child needs glasses, don’t worry. We have a fantastic array of children’s spectacles of all shapes, sizes and colours which are provided through the NHS.

HOME EYE TESTS

Our partner optician provides a home eyecare service to those who are unable to get to their local practice unaccompanied, for example, due to a physical or mental disability.

Please call 0121 556 3700 for further details.
